Added tie-points on my BX1870-1 ... 5000# standard bolt-on d-rings that almost perfectly fit the existing bolts over the front wheels ... only had to enlarge holes of +/- 1/16. At 6$ each can't expect better for the price ;-)
It is labeled 5,000#....possibly welded with that rating do you think? One thing to note:
Was the D-ring welded together, most cheap D-rings are not and that is their failure point.
Don't just believe what you read... 5,000 lb can still be an unwelded ring.It is labeled 5,000#....possibly welded with that rating do you think?

Yes they are !One thing to note:

Do your rings have 5,000# stamped on them?I have used the same type tie downs on my BX25 and now on my B2650. They have worked great - no issues at all.
I looked these up at our local (ish) Princess Auto store. The picture shows one 1 1/2" unit exactly like yours, "5000 LBS MBS" and says 1,666 lb safe working load. 5000 lbs is breaking strength.Added tie-points on my BX1870-1 ... 5000# standard bolt-on d-rings that almost perfectly fit the existing bolts over the front wheels ... only had to enlarge holes of +/- 1/16. Not sure where you obtained yours, but my local TSC carried ones that fit the from front frame bolts on both my BX1870-1 and BX23S. Just had to paint them.Added tie-points on my BX1870-1 ... 5000# standard bolt-on d-rings that almost perfectly fit the existing bolts over the front wheels ... only had to enlarge holes of +/- 1/16.
