I’m about to change the hydraulic fluid in my B7500 back to Super UDT2. How do I get the old fluid out of the loader lines?
Thanks,
Bob
Assuming the old fluid is not contaminated just drain and refill the sump. The old fluid in the loader is not a concern.

Not possible without a lot of work which no one does and very few worry about.

with the cylinders retracted disconnect each hose on each end and drain. its a pain in the ass. if you are insisting on it you pretty much gotta disassemble the cab/seat area to get to each hose where it connects to the pump....

you can get super crazy with it if you want to.

Out of interest, you say "back to Super UDT2" ... so what is currently in the tractor?

Whenever I buy a used implement with hydraulic cylinders, I always drain out the oil before I connect it to my tractors. It's really not hard to drain the oil from your loader if you really wanted to, but others have already indicated that they don't think it's necessary or worth it, but it doesn't really matter what they think if it's worth it you. Sometimes the peace of mind that comes from believing in something that isn't real or true is worth it. Take all religions for example. 😂

You can remove a pin at one end of each cylinder and remove both lines and blow easy with air on one line at a time which will cycle the cylinder each way this will remove all oil. Once you put it back together just remember to cycle each function to refill the system with new oil

Anyone who worries about hyd-fluid remaining in implement or loader lines…. should think Twice before attaching their brand-new equipment to their tractors…. (or any rental implements.)

and while they’re worrying….. how they gonna get the air out of the cylinders after they blow ‘em out…?? 🤣

(go back to worrying about the extra money wasted you paid for when you installed that Shell Oil in the engine….. when you discover that cheaper SuperTech is the identical stuff made by SOSUS (Shell Oil).
