bought a new BX23sl several months back to work on land clearing and a long driveway.. impressed with the unit,, needed chain storage, with the help of a welder friend we came up with this,, bolted them on this morning,, looks like they will work well..

yes they have drain holes drilled in them,, used a defunct small air-compressor tank that i had laying about...

happy to report that after 2 days of hard work (stump removal and road building) the boxs/pots are just as solid as when I bolted them in place.. having fun with little tractor, added 12v fan and toolbox on ROP's, teeth set on loader bucket edge,, upgrade on fuel filter, strainer filter on fuel fill, chainsaw holder, wheel weights..

should have been well OFF the lawn here,, corning solar shingles,, peak operation 2000watts 220 volts,, we are all electric, cut the bill in half, plus we needed a new roof at the time..
