Cell phone mount for open station tractor

Does anyone have a good solution for mounting a cell phone securely in an open station tractor? I don’t want a cup phone mount because I like to use the cup holder for it’s intended purpose.

Get a Ram ball mount and screw it onto your machine somewhere. I find suction cup mounts never hold unless you coat the cup with silicone for adhesive.

I agree with mikester. A suction cup holder would probably not hold up well being exposed to the elements and the inherent vibration that a working tractor experiences. You might consider a secure phone holder that attaches to your belt. No doubt you will be on and off the tractor for various reasons. If your phone is mounted on the tractor, you might not have it with you when you truly need it. Also your phone will stay much cleaner while mowing or doing those dusty chores if it is inside a velcro cover type case. I know they are not attractive (fashionable) but they are practical and secure. Just something to consider for safety reasons. Have a good day.

I have an otter box cover for my phone. I simply zip tied the mount to my ROPS (2 zip ties). It's been there about 2 years now without issue.

I believe in keeping my phone on my body!
Get off tractor,...... get hurt,..... phone is on tractor......not a good idea!

Don't ask me how I know but the cup holder on our open station tractors is not a good place for your phone. This is what was left of my new iPhone while bushogging around a few berry vines last year. Doh!

Wow, not good. I don’t think I’d try that anyway. My cup holder is either full with a coffee cup or water bottle most of the time.

I like and use Scoshe mounts in my Jeep and F250. I like the magnetic style with bases that secure to tubing or bolt to a surface.

Looks pretty well made. But it shows screws to mount, then mentions strong magnets. Which is it?

The phone connects magnetically to the mount via a thin plate that sticks to the back of the phone. The mount options are clamp, bolt or suction cup.

Thats almost identical to what my brother and I use for our phones while working on and off farm equipment. We are able to buy them from our local ACE store. I believe you will be happy with it.

Belt clip on the bod or a RAM mount. RAM has screw on flat mounts to use with the ball system.

Expensive but the magnets are really strong. I have the air vent attachment for the truck. I have 2 of their speakers also - sound awesome under a metal pavilion.

I have an L3901. Mounted this motorcycle cell phone holder to the bucket joystick black plastic cover on right side. I like this mount bc it clamps the phone in, super stable.

I recently installed another SCOSCHE mount in the new tractor. I'm a fan of their products having used their mounts for the past 5 years or so in my Jeep TJ and F250. The bottom photo shows the location I settled on. Out of the way, good view of my phone, and I get an extra bracket on which to push against when looking out of the rear window.

The best idea that I’ve seen yet. And cheap.

I have Two of these mounts, One on my L4760 and the other on my ZD323. I would guess I have at least 100hrs of use and have had no problems with the mounts and the grip they provide on my phone. To mount the ball base, I used double sided automotive trim tape on the ZD and for the tractor I ordered the clamp mount to attach the holder to the handrail near seat.
