Can't Stand the Wait.

Hello All,
I'm a new orange tractor owner! At least I own the receipt . I haven't taking delivery of her yet. I got tired of barrowing my neighbors green one! so I talked the little lady into taking advantage of the 0% interest and ordered my very own L3901 with loader and bh77! We are completely surrounded by Ag land so most of my neighbors have plenty of attachment's I can use so I pulled the trigger on the backhoe. Now here I sit waiting for the dealer to deliver her. Called them yesterday "we are very busy and yours is a few back so maybe next week" What I can't wait till next week!!! maybe I can volunteer my time and help them with there backlog.
anyway I'm just excited!

Welcome to Orange! I know that feeling and wow... a more than a week wait, ugh.

Make certain you get lots of pictures and any training you need from them when they drop it off. A bunch of questions might be in your head so write them down and ask when they deliver it. Also go through a lot of the threads here on the L3000's and see if any more questions come to mind.

I'm jealous of the backhoe, but that's only because my oldie isn't on my ranch but on my dad's at the moment!

I know how you feel. I had a three week wait. Then I got it and had to go out of town for ten days.

Good things come to those that wait. That is what they tell me.

Mine finally arrived and was assembled and ready to go on a Friday. I drove up to the dealer (60-ish miles) and made the down payment and signed all the paperwork and inquired as to when it might be delivered.

"We're pretty backed up. Wednesday maybe, more likely Thursday."

Uh, nope, I've been waiting a month with no tractor as it is. I showed up bright and early Saturday morning with my truck and trailer...

Welcome to the Orange club! I was told that mine would be delivered on a Thursday, but they didn't have any AG tires and it would be the next week Tuesday. It was a long wait, took the day off and waiting for it to show up. It was delivered 9:17, by 1:00 I had the tires muddy and thought I had did something to the engine. Turns out you can't lean to far to the right or the safety switch will kill the engine. Took a couple time of that happening to figure out what was going on. So if you lean to the right to check the clearance of the bucket and it dies, that is why.

Wish I could have gotten a backhoe, but it was a little more than I wanted to spend at one time. The $0 down and 0% was a added bonus, plus the rebates I got.

Hope you enjoy your L3901 as much as I have my L3901DT. Getting close to a year of having it (Dec 16).

Welcome to OTT. Hope you love your L3901 as much as I love mine. Had mine since July and love it. Also was a good excuse to buy me a new welder for building all the extra goodies I needed,(hay spear, ballast barrel , bucket hooks etc.). Like Shaun said ask a lot of questions. The only dumb one is the one you don't ask.

Welcome to OTT hatepavement. I guess I was lucky since I purchased in early March, they delivered it the next day. And yes, it was very dark by the time I brought her back to the barn.
