I got a canopy put on when I bought my tractor. I wish I had come here first and had someone talk me out of it. It's in the way when I mow, which is a primary use for my tractor. I guess I'll have a big orange fiberglass blob and a steel frame taking up garage space for a few years. Meh

Sell it on here and get yourself a Femco Tuff Top. They are fully adjustable for height and angle. Very happy with mine.

I don't want to deal with shipping, but will put it on FB marketplace or something. If it came off easy, it would be fine, but it's mounted to steel frame, and is incredibly difficult to put on and off all depending on the job being done. Would be great if I didn't have trees in the yard.

The Tuff Top is a one person put on and remove procedure and the frame stays with the top. The only thing on the tractor is the roll bar mount for the top itself and it don't stick up very much. I sure like mine. Keeps the sun off my bald head.

"Gets in the way when you mow"
Cut your branches up higher, that's what I did. ;)
My wife is a tree lover. She wants me to just use the push mower around trees. Also, I work around other things like buildings with rock and dirt piles next to them, and I have 5 trailers, a camper, a car, SUV, and a truck. We are on 1.5 acres and half of it is horse pasture, so not a lot of room to maneuver. I'd like to nix this one I got, the frame stays on too when I unbolt the fiberglass canopy, but the frame is half the length of the canopy, and I can't fold the ROPS down because it's heavy AF, and still sticks out 2 feet or so. It'd be great for mowing out in the open, but that is not my setup.

Sounds like the wife should run the push mower for a while. Won't take long you'll get to cut the limbs and put the top back on.

Lol, always fun to give advice like that and then sit back and watch the show. ;)

Just trim the trees when she is not looking. Better to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.

I'm not sure what kind of trees are in the front yard, but they are basically branches growing out of a stump. I can't trim them, I'd have to get rid of 3 trees entirely. Not an option.

Need someone to buy my canopy, problem solved!

Canopy sold local. Will ride uncovered for awhile, maybe get a Femco if the sun ever comes out. So far this year, not so much with the whole sun thing. Was in the 40's this morning. 2020 can suck it.
