One or two are nice to see around, but they can overrun a pond or lake. They have goose roundups on some of the inland lakes around here. If the DNR can find a place to relocate them, lake associations will have goose roundups in the summer when they molt and can't fly. I used to have an employee did this every summer with her husband. They used their PWCs to herd the geese out of the canals and into the lake so the rest of the boats could herd them onto the beach with waiting cages. The biggest problem was finding a place that would actually take them.
