Since the snow blower I got was free, is that a lot for that model of snow blower? We don't get enough snow to really justify a snow blower, so I couldn't tell you what a fair price is for one.

Tom - - today, someone at work said same thing.

For quite a while, I've heard same for RTV's, UTV's, ATV's, SxS, etc...if you can find one.

Co-worker was in market for a used .25-06...same for anything with a firing pin.

Thats because new sleds are ugly. No one builds a luxury touring sled anymore. My doc doesn't want me out in cold weather so my sledding days are over, but I wanted a older sled to bomb around on in my yard and my neighbors place. But they want thousands of dollars for 20 year old sleds.

Actually makes sense as few can afford to by a new car, those selling old cars KNOW this, and can ask the moon for theirs. Same here in Ontario, 'beater' used trucks don't exist anymore,neiher do sleds or riding mowers

sad reality is it will get worse, until make local-buy local happens.
