Maybe I missed it- are you referring to lifting with a loader, or the 3 point? I assume loader, because you wouldn't be able to unload from a truck with the 3 point. If you have a rear spear, you may be able to roll them off of the truck and then use the 3 point to lift them. It should get them off of the ground enough to move around. However, if you are considering using the loader, I think that you may be pushing the limit. I unload bales with a 743 skid steer, 1300 lb lift. It handles round bales fine, but it is pushing the limits of the machine. They will be much further out from the pins on an L2501, and I don't believe that it is advisable.
