Anyone make camshaft plugs for a L175 with a Z750 engine. I hear this is a common cause of low oil pressure. I need to check my oil pressure. I assume it is low because the oil pressure switch was broken off. My guess it was done so it could be sold.

I cut open the old oil filter and poured the old oil on a magnet. No metal particles. I also poured the oil through some fine cloth, no bearing bits.

I have been told the camshaft plugs are plastic and come out of the camshaft causing low oil pressure.

The cam plugs are metal. Press fit or solder, I'm not sure. Getting to them is a royal pain, get an accurate gauge in the port and see what your pressure actually is. The thread is 1/8 BSPT. Summit racing sells an adapter if you just want to use a gauge you've got handy or McMaster has Metric gauges in that thread for $8.
