Here's what's printed in my WSM in the event it is different than yours. They had several updates over the years.

(12) Mode "K" (HST Pedal, Range Shift Lever, Cruise Control Lever, HST
Response Dial, Fine-adjustment Mode)

NOTE
***8226; When any of ECU, HST pedal sensor, cruise control lever position sensor, swashplate position sensor, range gear shift sensor, HST response dial or proportional valve (Forward, Reverse) is replaced, this adjustment is required.

***8226; Tractor Condition
Parking brake: Set the Apply the Parking Brake (To push the cruise control release switch)
Cruise Control Lever: Set the Neutral Position
HST Pedal: Set the Neutral Position
Range Gear Shift Lever: Set the Neutral Position (between L and M)
HST Response Dial: Set the Center Detente Position

1. While holding down the both switches at once, start the engine at idling speed.

2. Select the mode "K".

3. Hold down the display mode switch for more than 2 seconds.

4. "HST-ADJ" (b) is displayed and release the switch.
NOTE
***8226; When indication "HST-ADJ" does not change, the engine is not idling, or the parking brake is not used.
***8226; When "ERROR-xx" is displayed (k), refer to the below chart.

5. "PUSH-SW" is displayed (c): Hold down the displayed mode
switch for more than 2 seconds.

There's another page to the instructions, but it is beyond where you're having trouble.

Never tried it myself, so I can't comment further.

Good luck!

I only published the instructions in the event they were different. There have been times in the past when forum members had an earlier WSM version and this updated manual had differing info. Thought it was worth a try.

I did think these instructions might be different as you referenced step 2 being "Push SW" and in this instructions it is Step 5.

If these instructions don't work and you're 100% you're following what's listed, it's time to call the dealer to see if the instructions have been updated since printing of the manual.

Keep us posted on what you find and good luck.

I think it is time to contact your Kubota Headquarter contacts, so they can assist with the instructions.

If you find an instructional change or workaround, please share.

Good luck!

Wow, that is a bit disheartening Kubota higher level support can't help!

Is there a way to check software revision to see if you have the latest? Perhaps a reflash would solve the problem, but I'm guessing you already tried it.

I hope someone else here can help you.

This computer fits a lots of diffrent Kubota, L4240, GST, Manuel. So if you get one you sould be abel to set this up as you will. Funny, seems like no one trayed to change this. Its probably just a smal thing, but I just need to find it.

Pkek, I once had an email reply from Kubota in response to an ECU question, but the name of the person was not evident. He was extremely knowledgeable about the programming built into these things; the syntax of his English was Japanese, so maybe he was geographically there. My question was forwarded to him from head? of East Coast Service Reps in US. I had to go through several layers of the help line to get there, but you may be able to do it faster. Let me know if that name would be helpful, although it was several years ago. I can try to find in my old email.

Does the OP want to share what the solution was?
