Went to get the tractor and for a split second I thought someone stole my 2380 and replaced it with a Cub Cadet. It was YELLOW! Or so it seemed. Fact is it was yellow from all the pine pollen that had settled on it. I really hate that stuff, gets into everything. Didn't even start it, instead I promptly removed the air cleaner filter and yep it had a lot of pollen on it. Blew it out then moved the machine over where I could wash it off. Back to orange again.;)(y)

My truck is just covered in pollen. We've had a ton of rain too.

What a great country! Pine pollen season was over down here over a month ago. We're well into tornado season now :) .

True story from a few years ago....I was mowing my field on a rather warm windy day, made a turn and, I caught a glimpse of what appeared to be puffs of smoke coming from my neighbors barn. I quickly drove over there and saw they were not home...puffs of smoke kept emitting from the barn.....so I did what I thought was the right thing to do...called the fire dept.....they were here in 5 minutes. They checked everything out...no fire. Turns out it was pollen from a large pine tree being blown over the roof....intermittent. Fire Chief said to me, you did the right thing...better safe than sorry.....I went back to my mowing....head hung. Oh well.
