BXpanded Hooks and Pallet Forks on B Series FEL

I have a Kubota LA272 FEL on my small B Series tractor. The 48" (46.5") bucket appears to be structurally and dimensionally the same in every way as BX Series FEL buckets I've looked at with the exception of a center hydraulic attachment on the BX versus two outside hydraulic attachments on the LA272 that fit ups to my B Series. Otherwise, width, depth, lips, etc...the same or similar.

The BXpanded website pages for hooks and pallet forks ONLY lists BX Series tractors required for order entry. I inquired about this with BXpanded through their website contact form including photos of my bucket. The email response was a brief "our hooks don't fit B Series tractors".

What is it about my LA272 48" buckets top lip...dimensionally the same as two 48" BX FEL bucket top lips I looked at and measured...that is different? Have any B Series owners tried the BXpanded hooks or pallet forks on their FEL's?

Although the buckets may be the same on the B and BX models the lifting capacity of their respective FEL's are not the same - hence, the BX hooks are not rated for the B model's ultimate lifting capacity.

Many of the BX model FEL's have a higher lift capacity than my LA272. The LA344 on the BX2660 has a significantly higher lift rating and you can buy BXpanded hooks and pallet forks for it.

Bxpanded makes some great stuff. I own the piranha toothbar and back hoe dollie, looking to buy the FEL dollie too, in the future. But I also have hooks and in the winter the tension spring falls off, luckily I have found it, everytime. Being in Illinois winters they dont work good, would of been better off buying Kens bolt on hooks for a permanent solution and cheaper!

Thanks for the insight folks. Just ordered the Piranha bar hoping it will help with clearing buckthorne. Looks like it will be bolt on hooks for me.
