If I may ask ,it cost you how much?

Today I saw a BX2680 with Curtis cab, MMM with bagger and FEL but without hoe on the truck at my dealer for delivery.

Salesman said it was $30K. The driver said it was LOUD inside.

MUCH too much for a BX.

My BX23S with cab was 30k with negative trade equity. No bagger.

Not too much when it's single digit temperatures out (at times -20 windchill) and you have 2-3 hours of plowing ahead of you. With the wind break provided, I can finish plowing without a break. I couldn't before.

It is loud inside with the PTO engaged. Noise canceling headphones are readily available.

Find one on a lot and try it out.

Now I don't feel bad about the cab I purchased from a cost perspective.

Mine is VERY warm in the summer, the solution is to just mow w/ the open station IH. If operating very early in morning at sunrise the ventilation system is adequate. But forget it when the temps rise into the 80's F. ++

However, winter plowing, long sleeve shirt, no hat or gloves, is pure bliss.

There are photos in the thread if there is interest. I still have an A/C option and purchased the unit, but lack incentive to install. Kinda enjoy open station in the summer.

Mine was due to negative equity with the 2670 I'd traded in. Also new plow and quick hitch.

He told me that the cab was around $6,000 installed and the bagger was over $2,000 installed.

I would have bought a 2650 with AC cab, etc.

It's cute, I'll give it that. Would fit in the front end loader bucket on either of my units. Seems pretty pricey for a tiny tractor.

When it comes to refueling with the cab, you might try I what I do...

I have the usual five gallon plastic diesel container. I put a milk crate on the seat and then put the container on top. I then use this gizmo to siphon the fuel into the tank: https://www.amazon.com/Siphon-Origi...ocphy=9002554&hvtargid=pla-524056062450&psc=1

Hello jmf78. As for your refueling, how do you heat your home?

I have oil heat, so I just put a transfer pump right in my furnace oil tank.

Or if you have a pickup truck, just go get a 50 gallon transfer tank that goes in the bed with pump with hose. Those are the two easy options for no-mess fueling.

I don't play with cans anymore. And don't waste your money on those Flo and Go pump kits that go in gas cans. They don't last at all, they leak and in cold climates the hoses become unbendable, LOL.

Why not some 3/4 inch (i think) clear hose and slide it to the can spout, giving you the extra room to empty the Jerry can/

I heat my home with propane (primary) and wood (secondary or when we are home to enjoy it).

I have a pickup but it's a double cab Toyota Tacoma so...not sure if that would work so well for me.

I am also done with fuel cans. Well, for diesel anyway.

I ended up getting a 55 gallon drum and and a hand pump as a means to add fuel. Which worked out pretty well since my neighbor is able to bring me off-road diesel at cost from his employer.

Just put a good quality fuel conditioner in your barrel like Howes or whatever brand you like, since you may have fuel sitting for a while. 55 gallons will go a long way in these tractors.

Agree with you there, if your gonna cab a BX you could just as well step into a 2650 with a cab, much nicer cab and tractor for not too much more money.

Agree completely with this, I have a 2670-1 with Curtis cab and can’t wait for snow again this year. I got the soft side version so I could save a little over a 1k dollars and the canvas works I’m warm and toasty in there.

Last time I checked the difference between a bx with cab and a b2650 with cab was around 5k, about 20 percent of purchase price on the BX, but its pretty easy to spend someone else’s money.

I don't disagree, and sometimes wish I had done so, but the BX is plenty of tractor for my 3.5 acres and what i use it for. It does everything that I need it to do.

Amazing what the BX tractors can do. Really all scuts.
A few years ago I abandoned open station tractors after years of freezing my butt off.
