If you own this attachment, you undoubtedly have e realized that the factory skids (shoes) are pitiful. The design engineer at Kubota or sub should be fired immediately.
This is even worse of a problem if you're running on dirt, gravel etc. ... they simply dig into the substrate and then gravel and rock ingestion begins. Last year I tossed a small football sized rock, the proper shearbolts never did their job and my impeller was severely damaged requiring replacement.
Very costly and all caused by that poor skid design.
I spent Quite a but of time looking fir a solution and found these to be more than acceptable. They are large with 1" steel powder coated and will work wonders.

Those have been commercially available for the past few years. You can also find similar items at local hardware stores and Home Depot.

You absolutely WONT and CANT find these at home depot or even similar. These are made by SBS, and there are no equals or even a pair of shoes CLOSE to the size and quality of these.

The first picture below is the picture that you supplied in the original thread. The second picture is a picture that I found online. Would you agree that they are the same skid, except that yours is new and the second picture shows a skid that is used.

I'm sorry, but being stubborn doesn't make it true. You are one of the doubters who refuse to acknowledge facts. Why wouldn't you even answer the question that I posed to you? Is it because it is true that they are identical products by the same manufacturer? Does it surprise you that a small manufacturer in a specialty market would join forces with a multinational company to increase sales? Here is proof that you are wrong, Home Depot does sell the ARMORskids! https://www.homedepot.com/p/ARMORsk..._-300355078-_-5-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a-_-n/a

2 things... I DONT answer to you. You're a nobody. And Home depot ONLINE is not Home depot. You won't find these at home depot. Maybe you should leave the house sometime.
Selling online, Home depot acts as a distributor. You can buy remote drones at Bed bath and Beyond too. I wouldn't expect you to know the difference.
AGAIN.. You can't find these at Home Depot . Good luck!

I found 2 sets of skids at a yard sale for five dollars and purchased them. They aren’t as long, however they are just as high and work so much better than what came on my 2816. I also picked up a baseball sized rock that just about destroyed my impeller. I didn’t shear any of pins when I used them last winter, they made a world of difference.

@Chuck B I was looking at your pictures of your auger blades. I'm new to Bota ownership, and I was recently pouring over all of the owner's manuals. I "think" you need to spin one of the augers 180 degrees. My manual states they need to be offset from each other. I looked at my used blower, and sure enough, my augers were lined up after the previous owner had sheared a bolt.

Good looking new shoes by the way!
