BX2822 55” Blower In Action

Went out on a limb and bought this to do our 750 foot dirt driveway. I've been really impressed with it so far and plan to eventually do a full review at the end of the season. I will be building an edge for it of 2 inch pipe as it likes to scoop dirt when the drive isn't yet frozen.

Video linked below.
Kubota BX HD Blower

Edit: I've since come to realize upon some more digging that this is in fact a BX2822 blower... and not the 2755HD, which was the previos generation for the BX00-70 series tractors.

I do like the shoes on the BX2755HD better than my BX2750D. Your video shows the shoes well.

7 or 8" isn't a lot. They can handle much more. We got 34" in 12-16 hours March 14, 2017.

I did my driveway in 3 times during the storm, but did most of the neighborhood twice....that was tough going...

Didn't know they needed help until later...

Yea, we were supposed to get +20" out of that storm, but it never materialized. Kinda wish it had been a bigger snowfall.

I have the shoes up really high as the driveway hadn't really frozen for the first few storms, and I didn't get around to lowering them after it had. It's pretty rutted anyway and will need to be resurfaced/graded this summer, another job for the BX!

You're a real manly man not to use gloves, although I bet the Ariens has handwarmers.
Ha! The Ariens does NOT have handwarmers. I couldn't see paying an extra $200 for the model that had them.

It wasn't thaaat cold out. I think it was hovering around 25ºF when I shot this.

Nice video. I have 4 winters on my BX2755HD & not had a problem, other than a few main auger shear pins. That blower is a tank.

I like the video, it was interesting with the different camera positions used, but it would have been much better without any background music.

Yea, I guess the music was a swing and a miss on my part. Did up a formal review video on the channel, and in the process learned that it was a 2822, and not the 2755. Same guts, but different mounting business for the K-Connect hitch on the 80 series tractors.

Nice video, and machines. I use an Ariens with hand warmers for sidewalks and between cars, but not really long enough to appreciate the heat.
