We recently switched out a BX2750D Snowblower from a BX2370 to a BX1850. Everything mounted up perfect except the Mid PTO shaft. The shaft from the 2370 seems to be just a bit too long to work properly on the BX1850. We were able to get it to fit by moving the quick hitch shaft forward, but i don’t believe there isn’t much clearance to run it properly. Is there a different shaft that will work on the 1850 with the BX2750D snowblower? I have listed the model numbers I am using below for reference:

Tractor
Model: BX1850TV54

Blower
Model: BX2750D

Quick Hitch
Model: BX2751

Mid PTO shaft that was used on the BX2370 is marked: 07061, but I don't think thats a part number.

I think there's a third part number you need, that of the actual mid-shaft itself. I will try to find it in my manual.

As I recall, there was a number for the BX series, and another for the B series.

Seems like BX was ~11", and B was maybe 17". I don't recall lengths that varied by BX models.

I will look and follow up.

Following further:

I have a BX2360.

I tagged mine as a BX2753 at 14 3/8" long.

(Unfortunately mine is all mounted up and blew 36" of snow last week, so I'm not taking it apart to measure the shaft length..... :geek: )

There is a shorter 11 1/2" version.

The BX18xx tractors are a little shorter/narrower than the BX23xx or BX26xx tractors, I'm wondering if the BX2752 kit is what you need.

The subframe is the same. The bearing holders are mounted differently, but I think just the shaft itself is the only difference.

I would investigate the part# more, not by way of my 8 year old manual, but by way of the CURRENT part numbers given by Kubota Tractor Corporation - Illustrated Parts List (kubotausa.com) , Parts for Tractors & Equipment (messicks.com) or Coleman Equipment - Kansas City Construction Equipment Dealership

Thanks for all the info. I needed the shorter output shaft, and found it on eBay not far from me. It showed up today and I swapped it out. Everything fits perfectly now. Dealers wanted to sell me a whole driveline kit, $750 and the other guy $675, and all I needed was the one shaft.
