I just barely barely got a pallet weighing 452 lbs off a 5 ft high deck freight truck, even using the tilt-forward and raise technique described earlier. Forks are Land Pride PFL1242 at about 220 lbs. Weight was centered on a 36 inch pallet. Can anything be done to the BX2680 hydraulics to raise the lifting capacity?

Remember this, simple physics .......... the further from the pins, the less you can lift and less you can lift high.

Yes you can bump up the hydraulics about 10% - a couple of 59 cent washers will do the trick!

The pin distance is killing you
The forks being far away from the pins is hurting more
and lift from 5 feet makes it worse!!!

I once picked up a log about 47 long and about 30" in diameter, rolled into the bucket - bucket lifted it up about 6" and said ........ "I'm done"

I think you were very lucky to lift that at 5' high! I'm very disappointed in the lifting capabilities of my 2680 but that's on me.. should have done more homework..
