I had my BX25 loader and BH off for a week while I changed Fluids, Filters and replace Tranny Fan. Went to attach loader back on yesterday and the bucket will not curl now to lift loader up into mounting bracket. I checked the back jumper line connections and triple checked all connections for loader. Did have to push center nub on 2 female connectors coming from loader to release pressure that built up from it sitting for 1week. The lift cylinders do move to line up to cradle in bracket and hose jerk like they under pressure when I try to curl bucket down to roll loader into brackets. I did power wash bottom of tractor & tranny to get built up dirt out of cooling fins. Anyone have more ideas of cause or other things to check out? Thanks

First thought is hoses not put back in proper order. Lift (WH/Y) are outside, and curl (Blue/Red) are inside two. Don't recall whole sequence.

EDIT - - I think front to back, sequence is Yellow, Red, Blue, White..but from memory...

Second thought is there's still a coupler or two not seated.

I agree with RCW - something is not hooked all the way - or out of sequence

Third thought....you have/had the BH off also....

Did you re-connect the 2 tractor-side BH hoses together to make a "loop" back to the tractor with the BH off? If not, on a open-center system can cause some strange things to happen....

I don't have a BH, but that's my understanding on how they work.

You are correct - if they are not connected - nothing should work, if poorly connected ....very strange things go on

Yes the Backhoe loop back is connected and checked it and all other connectors to make sure all are fully connected. You are correct in front to back color sequence and all hose and coupler plugs and caps sequence are aligned. Blue and red connections are for curl from tape on lines into bucket curl cylinder indicate. hoses do show signs of pressure when I try to curl but no motion from cylinder.

IF that is the case ........ switch the connectors from the standard color set up - to a different set up and see if the problem follows.......... this way you can see IF a cylinder is at fault OR the hydraulic controller is at fault.

WHEN you hit curl NOW - does the hydraulic system hit the bypass valve and Squeal?

Curling bucket down, are you remembering to push the control lever all the way to the right, past the first indent? Curling down has two positions...

I have got it fixed, as it was not broke. I took each connection apart for 4th time and sparyed females down with WD-40 and wiped away all oil and QW-tipped out the connectors of any discolored fluid. wiped down all male connectors and put all together again and tried hooking up loader again and this time there was no issue with operation. Thank all for input.

Glad to hear.

Just put mine on the other day, and there isn't much room to get those seated fully.
