Can the rad fan be taken off and turned around? I am building a cab for mine and was wondering if I could reverse the fan for the winter, push the air through the rad into the cab instead of pull the air out of the cab through the rad.

No turning the fan around will not do a thing for you.
It will still move air the same direction just not as well.
You would have to reverse the blade pitch for it to work, like get another fan off a puller and not a pusher setup.
If you were to do this, come summer it would clog the radiator then make it over heat.
100% best bet is get a heater core and pipe it in, they sell heaters for just such uses, with the core and box and fan all in one little unit.

The 1927 studebaker im working on has a funnel located near the fan, takes the air and blows it past the exhaust and then through registers in the floor. Im positive many people suffered poisoning from that setup. It will look intact but wont be passing gas so to speak.

What im getting at, is any fumes generated under the hood such as vaporized diesel fuel, exhaust and battery gassing could also be lethal. Glad you are goin for the less prehistoric method.

I have been thinking about something for a while-in floor heat.while ridiculous at first, dry floor and warm feet, solves two big problems for me. Could heat the seat too, maybe i wouldnt need a cab after all....

very good point, best not to have any gases or fumes being forced into a cab. glad I asked first and didn't go with my earlier thinking. Thanks
