Looking to buy a 2011 bx25 with BH,FEL, and MMM. The tractor has 500 hours on it. The BH and FEL look like the have never been used. PTO has never been used. The price is 13,500. Just wondering if it's an ok deal? Thanks for your help.

The condition sounds great, that matters a lot. Do they have any maintenance records? The price sounds very good for as stated condition. One more thing to consider is do you have the cash to purchase it outright or are you going to finance it. A new unit at zero financing is often times better overall than many years of financing at a given interest rate. Just something to consider, or think about.

No maintenance records. I do have cash. I was priced 19,900 for a new one. Just figured I would try and save $6500. I dont care about the QA. I can have the loader and BH off in 10 minutes. The condition is great. Factory paint still on the FEL and BH.

If you have cash - offer a little less....

one thing you are not counting on that 20k new model......
tax? around here - that is another grand....
K insurance ? That will be another 1 1/2 grand too.

So at your price for those hours .....I think it is a great deal!

If a subcompact is what you're looking for jump on it. Older year models with more hours are selling for that. So long as you've heard it run and look it over well it sounds good.......hard to believe the factory paint still intact with that many hours. I've got a BX24 I bought new in 2009 and just turned to 500 hours. In great shape but definitely the paint is well used on fel and bh. Good luck!

My only comment is, if it was owned by a Township that means any number of employees used it and probably abused it too. With no maintenance records I'd at least do an oil analysis on the engine oil and transmission ioil before making the purchase.

Better safe than sorry. That oil analysis will tell you of any impending issues that could be costly. Will cost you about 50 bucks for both tests, engine oil and transmission oil. Cheap insurance in my view.
