Hi guys, I have a BX25 and earlier today some hydraulic fluid started to leak. It's at the main bend, near the Slow Moving Vehicle Sign. It comes out at a slow steady pace, and I think it may be that the nut came loose somehow, since I didn't see any cracks, holes or cuts. Unfortunately, I didn't have a wrench on hand, so I could tighten it on the spot.

Pictures of where it's coming from.

I also have one other question, is lithium grease good for the grease zerks, or is something else recommended?

Yes i think you might have a loose nut there. be careful when tightening that you dont begin to twist the line by over-tightening it.

Any grease is better than no grease. if it was me, I would use a heavier body red grease. This like the "what kind of oil should I use?" questions will garner many opinions. there are many grease options, I just expressed my choice.

Good luck

I would think that would be of no worry. a few cycles of the boom should take care of anything that would have accumulated from that. Although, i'm pretty much stupid in the area of hyd's.
