So I'm going to pick up a BX25 tomorrow morning.

I just got of the phone with my homeowners insurance and they cover only on my land, so not sure it will work (I'll try though).

Before insurance the price is $19,424.

Here's what I was told the insurance must cover:

"Insurance that covers on and off property, accidental damage, collision, theft, upset, fire and in-transit."

I have State Farm for my homeowners, several vehicles, trailers, and some life insurance. I got a quote from my agent to cover the Kubota and it was $250/yr and didn't cover some of the perils that Kubota required for the loan. I think full coverage via Kubota was in the neighborhood of $170/yr so I went with that. I think my Kubota dealer would have been okay if I just said it was covered via my homeowners, but I have to live with me and am just not wired that way.

So, with the all that, I'm happy for you and I really believe you will not regret your decision.

Please keep us updated with how you are making out with your "machine".

I am looking forward to your comments tomorrow evening dom. Hope you get a little sleep on Kubota eve. haha!

I'm pretty excited. I was on ebay looking around for a hitch receiver so I can move my trailer around the yard with it. I have a utility trailer that is hard to move once I park it in tight spaces.

Hey Steve, here's a quote I received today:

BX25D, this price includes tractor, loader and bucket, 3 pt. hitch arms, backhoe and a 12" bucket.

$18,974.00

That's out the door, with a supposed cash discount of $700.

Not sure on my homeowners insurance, I'd need to check.

Then I'd have to add the $700 back to the price because it's financed.

So $19,674

I'll pass on the mower for now. My grass area is pretty small.

I'm going to contact a few dealers and see what I can find.

RCW, my harley has been sitting pretty for a long time!

It's more like a shed ornament now!

Dom,

I got the same deal last July, I bought the 60" mmm, so mine was right at 20,900.....then the ins....

I have made about 5 payments....and even when it is not used....I still SMILE!!! :D - looking forward to the spring/summer to get MORE use out of it !!!

I dont think you will regret it one bit!

Excited you should be!

I bought the insurance, just so I didn't have an issue with Kubota Credit Corp. at the end of the deal.

Hope it all worked out!
