here's some pictures of my nonROPS . Miserable rain today, so 'busy' indoor pictures.
Uprights are 1.5x3, 3/16 tubing, roof is sheet of aluminum.
Clears garage door opening by 3/4" and I can operate BH no problem.

Nice job. Had issues getting my 1880 in garage with ROPS up. Was going to trim it down 4 inches. instead, I lifted the ROPS almost all the way, put the pins in, then let the ROPS rest on the pins. About a 60 degree angle. Put my light bar on top of bar. Now I have 3 inches of clearance and the bar cannot come back down since it’s resting on the pins.

Thanks Jay. I'm going to consider making something shorter. IMO, the ROP Bar is too tall.

Being as mine is always tilted back, I don't know how many times I hit my head on the dang thing

It will work to keep you from hitting the garage door header, but how well will it protect you in the event of a rollover? I had a bad experience with my 1964 Minneapolis Moline Loader and Backhoe about 40 years ago when I was traveling from the road into the field. The front tire fell into a hole and the front axle of the tractor was designed exactly like the Kubota BX23S pivoting in the middle. The tractor started to roll over, and when I realized what was happening, I stood up and I either jumped or was thrown off of the tractor as it rolled over. When I came to, I was lying on the lawn about 5 feet from the tractor which was lying on its side. Had I not been thrown or jumped (don't have any recollection of which it was) I could have been crushed under the tractor. With the help of a neighbor and my bulldozer, we were able to right the tractor, and it was OK. I wasn't as lucky, and I feared that tractor and sold it a month later. Even with my BX23S I fear a rollover, and am very cautious where I go with it and how I use it. Without the ROPS I wouldn't consider using the tractor.

If I was paranoid about rollovers, I'd reinstall the ROPS top section and new seatbelt but after 6 decades of working lots of equipment, don't really need ROPS. None of my 27 previous tractors had it.
Course if I did that, I'd have to increase garage door height by 15"......

I think if I do something, it will be as close to stock as I can get. The hard part would be finding someone to form the bends.

you could just buy the top section and cut it down, then drill holes as required......
hmm, just checked K CDA, Messisks, Coleman NONE have ROPS upper or lower sections in parts !!!

next alternative, cut your upper ROPS and remove a 'section', then 'sleeve and weld'. Maybe 2hrs labour.

Did it knock anything in or out of you? LOL
No! I still bump the dam thing especially when in the garage with the top down! Thank goodness the rops doesnt have any jagged edges!

Original Tractor Cab Kubota Hard Top Cab (originalcab.com)
They are $1299 for just the cab. The glass windshield, wiper and mirrors are extra! I was lucky to get mine at Messicks. They had one left at just under $900 IIRC.
Can you measure the top of your cab to top of the ROPS? Looking at the picture on the link you provide, looks like 2 inches. If it’s 4 or more inches, I may get that. my new set of tires and rims should be any day. A little bigger so am hoping my clearance doesn’t change much.

I will measure tomorrow. I dont think the rops is the same as yours. I know mine is wider not sure on height I think its higher because of the BH but ill take a few measurements. The cab has 2 struts that attach to the rops but I dont use them because then I cant fold the rops down.
