Not my BX2360, but a friend just bought a used BX23S TLB with 2-300 hours.

I recommended she check HST fan while doing full service on it.

HST fan is stripped of the fins.

If my memory serves, Kubota did not rectify the complicated HST fan replacement issues with the BX23S...i.e, still need to tear a lot down to get at it?

Asking for a friend...literally this time....😳

She is a better mechanic than I am, and can do it if understands how to go at it. I immediately recommended she get the WSM; just wanted some pointers foryou guys that have done a BX23S.

If like the BX25 series - and I betcha it is .......... Paul Short did a youtube video of it and there are others on youtube showing how to take apart the machine bolt by bolt.....

then there is a video of the one that drills a hole in the hump below the seat and THEN spits the fan in half and does it that way ......

I think the engine has to be slide forward an inch or so........ hopefully that is NOT the case now!!

My recollection is that the series newer than mine did not fix the replacement issues.

Odd thing is that in older BX tractors it was much easier.....Kubota made it more complex with “better” tractors, yours and mine included.

She’s a great mechanic. She can do it, whatever it takes. Was just hoping that series fixed a long-standing poor design. I didn’t think it was in the cards, but figured I’d ask.

True.

I’ve had an Under Armor from BXPANDED for years.

Just took it off today to put mower on.

Suggested she did the same....
