I need a fuel pump for my 2022 720/hr BX23s.
I know, "pick the best you can afford".
Huge price discrepancy.

Messicks and my dealer local dealer were about $235
Messicks shipping is probably another $125 ;););)
Colemans: $127
And then there are these
Fridayparts $35
ebay $30

Now if someone tells me they bought the $35 one and its lasted 2 years/ over 500 hours of use, I'll buy a few of those.
Otherwise, what justifies the difference between $127 and $235?

Buy the Colemans, assuming OEM part. Surprised your fuel pump failed.
Parts pricing can change daily now that is is all computerized. Messicks could drop tomorrow or Colemans go up.

Fuel pumps aren’t rocket science. I say buy the one for 35 bucks and learn your lesson.

That’s what I would do. I did the same with a fuel cut off solenoid on my BX 2 or 3 years ago. I learned my lesson… It’s still working fine.

That’s actually scary that it failed with low hours. Makes me nervous being a BX owner. Did you use it like you stole it, aka run it hard? Could bad fuel cause this?

gee mine's run for 1500+ hrs in 8 years except for several hours( days ?? ) when it magically was unplugged. Have no idea how long, but engine ran fine. I refill when down to 1/4, take 10 liter to fill to FULL.
If I needed one, I'd buy 2 of the $35 units. My 'Noah' principle. having a spare on the shelf usually means I WON'T be needing it . Current CDN price is $240 !

FYI I ran one of these in my BUDA diesel powered forklift for several years..
..
Never gave me any problems.

I must admit, that I USE my tractor. I don't beat it like a bad wife, I make it earn its keep. I do push it. But, a bad fuel pump already? It's just pumping fuel, it should last forever. Then again, the half A$$ed weld job on the FEL, and the support of SGDs by Kubota, should tell us something. I also added the missing** screen on the gas tank to keep the crap out and changed the TWO fuel filters.

**neglected. Funny how my 80's B8200 had a screen in the fuel tank from the factory, but the 2022 does not come with one.

Here is where my “fuel screen” ended up, after forgetting to remove it and spilling fuel all over my hood for the “Bazillionthe” time…...

I loved the “concept” of it, but the actual implementation was “No Bueno” for me.

Are you sure it isn't a blockage in the tank?
Very common on the BX.
nope, pulled the line off the back and the fuel came out. I also noticed the sound of the fuel pump disappeared a little while ago.

My neighbor had a bug in his L2502 line. They took it to the shop and spent 6 hours "fixing" it for almost $1000. It wasn't covered by the warranty. It was all because there was no screen in the tank.

Mine got blocked 7 years ago, had to remove tank to properly clean it. Tiny chard of plastic was wedged in the exit spigot.FYI NO 'camera' would have seen it ! Since then added a 'cold coffee mason jar filter' for $10 from TEMU, ZERO issues and I can pour 10 liters of fuel in fast.

Just bought 3 of these. "should" get them tomorrow.
I bought a couple of those using on an older riding lawn mower with gas engine. The didn't last anytime at all, weeks maybe. I thought maybe the first fail was just a dud but second one did in short time too. I went back to the oem style one that runs off a vacuum or pulse from the crankcase.

The one thing I wondered was maybe the alcohol in the fuel might have killed them so you might be OK with diesel.
