BX2380- Starts up, but stalls

Something new, My BX2380, I bought new, now only 225 hrs. Starts beautiful, warms up fine and Smooth, then when I press the forward or reverse, it stalls. Or when. Sitting there, i hit the mower pto, stalls, as if I’m mowing and get off the tractor seat.
Now recently, the seat cover cracked from the cold. I just bought a new cover, didn’t get it on yet. But I tried getting off the seat, and unlatching it, and then banging it in place. Nothing. I unplugged the seat switch wire and replaced it. Nothing.
Yesterday, after playing with it after an hour, it started moving beautifully. Well, today stalling again.
Any thoughts.
Im getting ready to trade up a bit larger.

sure, there's a great wiring diagram in the electrical section, think it's post #13. Nice, hirez, zoooomable.

what RPM are you running when this happens ?
how old it the fuel ?

does it always die 2 seconds later, or random ?

It starts and runs very smoothly. Gas is new, with treatment, and idles nice. As soon
as I press forward or reverse, it dies. Like I said, seat cover has cracked from the cold. I didn’t put the new cover on yet.

Id suspect the reason it dies when trying to move it, is either your parking brake is on, or the micro switch that it engages thinks it is.

It runs beautiful. Until I press forward or reverse. Plus it dies if at idle I engage mower PTO.

Two days ago, It also did this, but after running it at idle and trying to move, it did. Then ran like a champ.

Id suspect the reason it dies when trying to move it, is either your parking brake is on, or the micro switch that it engages thinks it is.

The parking brake being on on any Kubota tractor will not make it die electrically, there is no interconnect to that.
Most do not have any electrical connect or switches on the parking brake linkage.

I have two wires going into the base of the seat.
BX2380
Somewhere inside that seat is the safety switch.

Seems like you’re on the right track with the seat switch. Maybe as simple as a wire came off the switch.

I didn't document it well. Here is my issue with the seat switch.

Your switch looks just like mine. Flip the seat up, and it's right there and easy to take out. 2 bolts and a 2-wire connector.

This is an older BX2360, but here’s where my seat switch is.

Easy peasy to pull it out.

I’d prefer a B series but sometimes you need to pick the low hanging fruit

FWIW
to bypass you probably remove from eat switch, add a jumper between the connector contacts.
Sitting on seat, close switch contacts ,supplies power to the OPC module, according to the hirez diagram in post #13, electrical subforum.
