I purchased this BX2380 new 4/2021. It happened a couple of times over the summer. It resolved on it's own after waiting 1/2 an hour.
Happened over the winter. I thought it was gelled fuel. After heating for a while it started but continued to stall randomly. Each time it would run after waiting 1/2 an hour.
I started thinking it was a vapor lock, or a blockage in the tank. I tried rocking the tractor back and forth and it worked, instantly. This continued for couple of years until now, even rocking or waiting doesn't work.
I have seen many other people with similar symptoms. Many fuel pumps replaced without resolving the problem, some gas tanks removed and flushed, filters replaced, ...very frustrating.
This has been a problem since new, I am wondering if any other owners have experienced the same problem?
Has anyone found a solution?

Sounds like you might be in need of a full fuel system clean.

Are you using biodiesel?
How long does it take you to go through a tank of fuel?
Do you store your machine inside, heated, or outside?
Do you follow a regime of using additives in your fuel?

I might use a tank in a few weeks, I store it outside and yes, I do add stabilizer. I am planning to flush out the tank.

With keeping your fuel two week fresh and seasonally appropriate kind of takes away natural fuel contamination problems. 25 tanks a fuel a year means you're likely around 1500 plus hours on your engine. It could be a lot of things.

So your mystery is not so superficial. Means you have to check for things like pinched lines, stuff in your fuel tank that might get in the way of the fuel pickup, clogged vents, air leaks in the fuel system, injectors that might be plug or pooched, clogged air filter or air pathways, etc...

Good luck lots for you to check on. I would start by pulling your maintenance schedule and going from top to bottom and checking and doing everything.

You may have answered your own question, only now it's worse. Flush/clean the tank and try one of these. Catches a lot more than I expected in the one I use.

First: Put 2 new filters in it, and treat the fuel with a biocide, treat a full tank of fuel.

If you have changed both fuel filters, it maybe crap in the fuel tank. Some grass or a couple dead June bugs, sloshing around and covering the fuel outlet will drive you crazy chasing down the problem
