I have a BX2380 with 440 hours on it. I was using the tractor carrying some wood over the hill in the front bucket and barely had any brakes at all. Now I have no brakes at all. I adjusted the turnbuckle but I have zero resistance on the pedal. The linkage is pulling forward when stepping on the brake. I have a feeling I know the answer to my issue, but I’m hoping someone has better news for me and it’s something I’m just missing. Thanks!

I seldom use brakes, do you?

Had my tractor for 12 years….

Not being a smart aleck, just curious.

I tend to use a combination of the hydro and the brake if going down hill with a load, just a habit I guess
That could be your issue.

I literally have (almost) never used the brake while driving. I traverse some steep slopes.

I occasionally use the parking brake if I stop/park the tractor on a hill.

Low range is good for the hills.

Always keep the tractor in 4WD while on hills, and/or carrying weight in the loader.

Let the HST do your braking, it’s not a car or truck.

I have no idea what you are suspecting but fix your brakes.

I guess I was hoping it was something easier than the 15 hour job of tearing in the rear end
BX brakes have been seldom covered here on OTT to my recollection. Have come up a few times

Wish you the best for repair.

I’d probably try to stop my use of the brakes…..😉 Not what they were designed for, if I had to guess….
