I have a BX2380 ~1 year old < 100 hrs on it and I think I might have (and probably always had) some issue with the MMM linkage.
Problem:
- Deck does not raise fully to top position
- Can't turn height adjustment knob
- Deck wobbles / bangs around when driving
- Gap between rear link and stopper is much wider than spec in manual
More than once in the past, I've been able to temporarily solve this issue by tightening the rear link adjustment bolt behind the left rear tire. But the bolt is already all the way in and can not be tightened any further.
Additionally, as of yesterday, it seems like the rear link bar might be sometimes contacting the PTO on-off lever. Yesterday, I raised mower and the engine died and I was unable to restart it. I eventually realized it wouldn't start because it thought the PTO was engaged. I tried to move the lever on and then off, but it was "jammed" in position.
I almost wonder if the left hydraulic lift arm on the rear isn't lifting as far as it should. I think the effect would be the mower link not pulling back fully and the MMM therefore not raising all the way.
Anyone experience any similar issues?
