Hi Good Folks,

I've just had a 60 inch mid mount mower installed under my BX2380. It worked great for about 10 minutes. It still cuts great, but the mower won't lift up or down anymore and I can't adjust the height adjustment twist knob as it's stuck.

Any ideas out there please?

Cheers,

Jake Barker (New Zealand)

Jake,

the height adjustment knob can be a real PITA - wrap that knob in a towel or something that will enlarge your grip and give it another try. But before you do that - take a piece of wood, brick or whatever you find and place under the deck and lift it up on all sides and see if that helps.

So when you pull the handle back the deck does NOT rise at all or move at all?

Could there be a linkage problem - something loose up under perhaps?

Height adjustment knob doesn't work unless the deck is all the way up. If the 3 pt goes up and down and the deck doesn't, then there's a linkage problem somewhere with the deck.

You have two black knobs to deal with. The deck height on the left and the flow valve on the right. Make sure the flow valve is open to allow the deck and 3pt hitch to travel up & down.
As mentioned earlier, the deck has to be at TOP of travel to easily change position settings.

Here,s what works for me. Set rpm to 2K. Raise mower until you hear the relief valve kick in.
Then turn height adjustment knob clockwise. Others have stated you can turn the knob in both directions, but for me, it only works while turning the knob clockwise.
