Hey Just an FYI, the drive over deck in not compatible with the BX25D. My dealer installed one on mine initially, but once I got it home and began using it, it was clear this deck was not suited for the BX25D.

The 25D has an additional frame support that runs under the foot well, that the standard BX's dont have. The lever on the deck that engages the drive shaft, makes contact with this frame rail long before the deck is high enough to lock at the top position. So even tho the mower will operate, you will never be able to lock it in the top position, thus it will travel up and down any time you are using the 3 point.

Just get as much convenience as you can afford. You won't remember the $500 you saved, or paid extra, a couple of years from now.

I have the 2370-1 with the 60" drive-over deck. I have not tried removing/installing the regular 54" or 60" deck, but I have 48" deck on my Craftsman "Lawn Tractor" and its a real pain to take off and drag out from under the tractor.

The Kubota drive over deck makes it real simple. Why not have some simplicity in your life.

I was told that there would be a kit this spring (2016) to add drive over capabilities to the standard 60" deck to work with the BX25D tractors. I haven't heard or seen anything yet though.
