After using plow, tiller and FEL, tried using mid mower under tractor and cannot get it to go down. Have tried manually reinstalling to try gravity to help lower but failed. Knob to turn to adjust height now will not turn. If I remove the deck again and turn the knob, would it fix it or not. Do I turn it clock wise or counter clockwise to allow the hydrolic arm to drop to reinstall mower deck. Have read manual, tried YouTube videos, read this forum and others. Suprinsing no one has info on how to troubleshoot issue.

I think the knob is your problem.....raise it all the way up, wrap something around the know to gain some more torque and twist away. It controls the speed of flow, and I think you have it closed off.....

Mower (3 point) must be raised 'ALL' the way up before you can turn height adjustment knob. If it is in the TOP position, it will not go down as it is locked in the up position. The knob turns from the lower numbers through to the larger numbers i.e.. TOP---1,2,3,4 etc.
Took deck off in the all up TOP mode, turned to 2 and bars dropped, reinstalled latches and front bar. It worked. Now just have to adjust mowing height to cur grass. Left drive shaft connected from trying to have gravity drop deck down. Thanks for help to all of you.
I forget all the time the deck/3pt needs to be all the way up to turn nob. I guess I'll learn 1 of the days
