Do you have to remove the hst pedal to remove the floor board? Also, does anyone recommend any other oil than kubota's sudt2? I currently have 145 hours and my fel control valve appears to be leaking. Isn't this a bit early for
seals to break down?

Are you sure all the lines and fittings, are tight that go into the control valve. Also the control valve is under the battery. Remove the screen in front of the battery then remove the plastic covers under the battery and you'll have access to the control valve etc: no need to remove the floor board.

Yes, you have to remove the HST pedals to remove the operator floor panel.
There is no better oil to use than Kubota SUDT2.
Your leak is most likely just a loose connection at the control valve or if it is leaking on the LH side, it could be a steering line fitting too loose.
