Hello all

I recently finished my 50 hour maintenance on my machine (only 6hrs late! =-) and I have noticed that after running my tractor for about 10 minutes, when I recheck my hydraulic fluid it appears that there are many air bubbles in it. I went through and checked most of the items I changed (filter screen and filter) and they appear to be secure. I even put a little extra twist on the hydro filter just to make sure (3/4 turn instead of half)

Where would I start to check these items, or should I get on the phone with the dealer =-)

Thanks!

Someone else will confirm as I am not 100 percent certain but I think you are fine. You gotta think, the hydraulic fluid travels a good distance and at quite the flow. Its only natural what it would "froth".
The system also automatically dumps off air, that's why you don't need to bleed the hydraulic lines.

I agree with meanjean, except, what hydraulic oil are you using? Some will foam more than others which would not be a good thing! If you are running SUDT though and everything is working smoothly, I wouldn't worry if the oil looks a little foamy after use.

Thanks. I'm running sudt
I was a little concerned since it looked almost milky after use, returning to light gold after about 30 minutes. I will make sure that everything works well after I get completely ready for winter (fel, box blade).
