Hi, brand new to the forum. I got my 2003 BX23 just 2 months ago and all is good except the seat undercarriage has problems with latching in either front or backhoe position. Something is wrong with the whole thing. Is there an upgrade replacement for the whole assembly? Has anyone had issues with seat frame latches and adjustment? Thank you.

Has this machine been stored outdoors?
Mechanisms tend to get grubby and sometimes rusty as well. Stuff sticks and tends not to slide nicely. Hoping just a little t l c and regular maintainance might be needed.

Started having same issue with my BX25D recently. A little WD40 in strategic places and it’s behaving better. I do hate the “turning the seat” system but it is what it is…

hmm, did you lose the little spring on the right side of the bailbar/lever ??
The one on my BX23S went MIA....
check 'online parts' for the diagram and part number.
I use WD40 on lots of things, but for the seat you might consider Fluid Film. It’s available in my my neck of the woods at big box stores and auto parts stores.
