As the title states, I was moving a bunch of branches to the burn pile. Everything was going good until I shut it off to take a break for a few minutes. When I went to restart it nothing not even a click.

I Reset the PTO levers Nope
I checked the shutoff solenoid it is working
I checked the fuses nothing wrong
I then went to the seat switch I popped the seat checked the switch with a meter and even jumping no change.

I looked over and saw this connector was sitting funny. I went to unplug it and it came apart.

What is this switch? Can I jump around it to get the tractor out of my driveway?

I will go to the dealer in the morning, but would really like the sort of the driveway before then.

Thanks

I don’t have a backhoe equipped BX, but guessing that’s another seat switch for when you move the seat for backhoe operation. My tractor doesn’t have one there.

I’m on my phone, so not handy at providing links. I would start at www.Kubotausa.com for illustrated parts diagrams.

My switch in the seat pan gave me issues a few weeks ago. Switch was fine, just needed some adjustment. Wonder if yours is the same, as you said it was loose to start with.

Again, I’m guessing so take it for what it’s worth.

PS - you can likely get a Workshop Manual (WSM) at www.kubotabooks.com.

It is the PTO switch the spring pushes it back down when the PTO is in use. I jumped it out and it is still not trying to start. It started to rain so I tossed in the towel. I will give my dealer a call in the AM to see if they have one in stock and can send some one out to figure out what other safety switch might be causing the problem. I guess I need to get a wiring diagram for this thing.

Thanks
Mike

Mike - not sure, but the WSM link I posted earlier may have the wiring diagram….
