BX2230 miss

Hi guys, got a curious problem. When finishing cutting the grass there was a couple times the engine seemed to momentarily stopped and picked up again... like a second or two. This happened 2 maybe 3 times when I was finishing up.

Last fall I replaced all the fuel filters and oil & filter. I always use fuel additive and a little seafoam to catch any moisture that may have condensed since I also snow blow with it.

I thought maybe a safety switch, but I was on flat level ground. The only change was I filled it with fresh fuel before cutting, #2 off road.

Not sure where to start? Any ideas?

Not likely, but there might be some trash in the fuel tank that is covering the fuel pickup hole. Just a thought.

Fuel problem, just went thru this myself, put fresh diesel in and nothing but problems, fuel had water and crud in it, plugged my filter, tractor took 2 fillings before it ran right, sounded like a miss, probably plugged an injector, running okay now, off road #2 diesel, must not be selling as much?

I was suspicious of the fuel but the station I get mine from sells a lot and I've never had a problem in 5 years.. I gave it a heavy dose of seafoam this morning and used it a little without the miss........cross my fingers..... next time I'll get #1
