Update again, and thank you for sharing the knowledge so far!

I haven't had much time to disconnect fuel line to check flow, but also because I've now gone through 3/4 of that last tank I filled with no problems at all. Yes I hear the clatter of the fuel pump (or lifter? Sorry for poor terminology) when I turn the key to warm it up before starting.

I'm wondering if the other variable is the MMM being on/mid PTO being engaged? That might not have crap to do with it but I've only noticed the problem cropping up while the mower is on, and (I think) engaged. I'll have to pay close attention next time I mow.

Maybe something did get clogged in the tank but has now dislodged? I'm going to keep monitoring and take the next steps you guys suggested immediately next time it happens.

Great news!

The fact you hear the electric fuel lift pump is good.

I really doubt using the MMM has any relation to the problem, unless it's a fuel restriction problem caused by working it real hard.

Like I said before, I don't put much stock in my fuel gauge...just don't run her out of fuel!

Take care, and let's hope your done with that problem.
