I recently picked up my first Kubota and am working on getting it top condition. It is a BX2200. One of the items needing repaired was a broken feedback rod on the cylinder lift. It snapped at the cotter pin hole midway down the rod. I have no idea what happened to break this rod.

I purchased a replacement, but can***8217;t figure out a reasonable way to replace it. The rear wheel is off and I have removed the retaining cotter pin, but there is not enough room between the lever and plate of the hydrostatic system.

Any tips on what needs to come apart to replace the rod? Thanks in advance!

I can not give the answer on how to fix it the right way, but my reply will bump your post to the top again, so maybe that might help in a way.

One idea for a half baked, but maybe serviceable solution, would be your could cut the replacement and weld it to the remaining original part, if you are not able to remove it easily.

Hopefully someone will explain how to remove the broken rod painlessly!

Post the part number of the rod so we can easily find it in the parts illustrations.

Take some photos.

I will send you a private Message with my email.
Email the photos to me and I will put them on the forum for you.

Not enough posts to link a picture, even one found on this forum. This is the link if it is copied and pasted into your browser with a www in front of it.

Mine broke right at the small hole midway down the rod where the cotter pin goes. I’ll try to get some pictures tomorrow.
