The BX 2200 tend to be sensitive to air flow when it comes to Cooling there have been many suggestions I've seen online about improving a situation such as new radiator belt blow out the breed it has collected on the outside of the radiator clean it flush the radiator change the ratio of water to antifreeze add a tank to hold more coolant in the system move the battery to promote better air flow I did none of the above I took a fan from a BX 26 series which has five blades trimmed it down slightly in diameter and replace that original four blade fan my cooling problem is now eliminated

That was a fun sentence to read, but it sounds like you found a simple solution to your problem.

how easy was it to replace the fan, once you reduced the diameter to match the four blade fan that was in there originally?

I don’t get it???

edit: I realize the OP could’ve done a better job with punctuation, but I actually was able to read it and understand it without much effort… And it seems like he was trying to give a pointer to somebody with a similar tractor or identical one. And I happen to have an identical one so I wouldn’t mind hearing how much effort it took him to replace the fan after he modified the new one.

I set up the fan from the bx26 seriines on a Milling table and rotated it through a half inch End Mill taking off.100 inches at a time doesn't take very to reduce the diameter of the fan from 11 and 3/4 to to 10 and a quarter inches project took about 3 and 1/2 hours
