Greetings! Long-time reader, first time poster here...
I tried to research this and couldn't find anything (though maybe I wasn't searching the right terms)...I'd like to switch my hazard/flashers out for led lights facing backwards for when I'm plowing/pushing snow with my back blade at night. I'm fairly mechanically inclined...but when it comes to wiring I'm a bit hesitant. Wiring these up will be simple...but is there a way to convert the power going to the lights to be constant instead of flashing lights?

I know I could run a separate power from battery but I prefer to have the switch on the dash to turn lights off/on (and utilize existing wiring)...so I'm hoping to find a solution for this specific end result.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide! Happy New Year!

I don't know the BX at all. My L3501 has a work light connector concealed under the left fender. It works with the power switch and is good for ten amps. If you're adding separate lights that should work. If you want to use the existing lights you're probably looking into rewiring at the switch or flasher.

Realistically you can't do what you are describing. What I would do is connect to the battery and put a fuse inline and an on/off switch to the light. The tractor steel parts will be the ground path back to the neutral on the battery. There is also a fused wire somewhere in the rear wire harness, however, I believe that one is also connected through the ignition switch so it will only work when the tractor ignition key is in the on position.
While you are doing this, you should consider purchasing LED bulbs for your 4-way flashers. Get the colored LED bulbs in red and yellow for the best effect.

IF your BX2200 is similar to the BX23S...
Check the wiring harnesses at the back. If there's a wrap of BLUE tape, remove it. You'll fine 3 bullet connector. 1 male...it's ground, the 2 females are live power and switched power.

Also ...there is a 'flasher unit' .. so technically you could 'jumper out' the relay contacts that 'flash' the lights and have solid lights.

find the flasher relay, or as kubota sometimes calls it "winker reray"

the winker relay is powered through the winker switch in the dash. Switch applies +12v to the relay, relay opens and closes a set of contacts inside of it which applies and removes +12v to the winker lights. It is an old-school thermal relay; not a solid-state, as I remember. The winker part of the reray just makes a connection between the batt + and lights, but intermittently, which causes the lights to blink

so you can devise a way to bypass or modify the relay and then your winkers won't wink anymore they'll just stay on if you do it right

should not be hard. then your winker switch just turns into your rear work light switch.

look at your wiring diagram for more details.

Thanks to all for your replies and assistance! Much appreciated...I'll look at the wiring diagram and see what I can figure out with your suggestions. Hoping the "work light" pigtail exists as that would like be the easiest solution. Thanks again and Happy New Year!
