Has anyone fabricated a bracket to hold the air filter body on a BX2200? Seems as if the original bracket breaks. I have the newest version from the manufacture and the strap breaks.

Well here is an attempt to fabricate a new bracket.
Made out of 16 gauge sheet metal.
Here it is installed. The bracket is painted as a test of the paint color. Paint was bought at a tractor supply store. Looks to be a very good match.

Have you considered makeing another brackett to go along with that one, maybe attach it at one of the ends. I just had my cowel up with the eng running and couldn't believe how much the breather was shakeing.
