Kubota BX22, 470 hours. Dug 120+ foot of ditch on Saturday, moved stone, etc with no problems. On Sunday I dug a 10lf section and turned off the engine while I cut and placed pipe and connected fittings.
When I turned it back on, both the front end loader and backhoe had virtually no power. The front end loader would go up if I just barely moved the lever down, but not when it was moved all the way down. It would not move down however. Backhoe had the same issue. It would move slowly in one direction but not the other. Power to the pto and wheels seemed normal, but it's hard to tell because it would only spin the wheels since the stabilizers were still down (and would not go up).
Let it sit for a couple hours while I tried to find solutions on the net, and then gave it a try again. Everything worked normally now.
It is due for a oil, filter, hydraulic fluid and filter change (just purchased them actually), but has been running normally.
What could the problem have been? I'm worried it may be a sign of something starting to fail. Should I be concerned?
