Good morning,
I'm looking for a bit of advice on a till for our bx1870. We are looking to use it for a small home garden now, but hoping to use it to till a much larger plot a few years from now(maybe an acre). So while cost is always a concern, we want something that will last. I would also love "Made in USA" to be stamped on it.

I came across: http://www.accubic.com/store the price is right. Its only assembled in usa, but I guess that's better than nothing. However, there isn't a heck of a lot of reviews on this company and they have only been around since 2013(maybe why they are cheaper).

Then you get into the usual suspects, ie king kutter, lands pride at a higher price point. Havent looked to see if they are made in the usa yet.

So looking comments or suggestions on where to turn or if anyone has an accubic tiller.

thank you for your time

I have the bx2370 with a land pride tiller with 48" wide tilling area it does well for me at least tilling wise. Mine came with a shear bolt to kick out when tilling if i hit something. I have went as far as 5 in a single day hitting a rock. The other type is a spring loaded drive shaft that just basically unlocks if it hits a rock while tilling. Check prices and remember it may only till up to 6" deep.

Keep in mind that Rototillers are high HP drains, you are only delivering 13.7HP off the PTO and with any tiller you can quickly pull that much power. ;)
