Hi,
I recently acquired a BX1870 and a few implements, as part of purchasing a rural property. It runs, and the mower works. However, I cannot get the PTO shaft to disconnect. Since the tractor and mower are both Kubota, my guess is that the shaft was part of the purchase. The lock is something I have not seen before.
I sprayed WD-40 on it and let it sit for a while, and then tapped the yoke with a hammer, rotating it through different positions as I did so. It doesn't budge, no matter what I try.
Photos attached.
Suggestions most welcome!
John.
