I recently went to change out the rear seal on my 2009 bx1850 as it was weeping oil. I just purchased the tractor like this. When removing the rear cover the main pto shaft started to come out with the cover. Now I cannot get that shaft to go back in so the bearings align and the cover can go back on. I have tried moving the pto selector and rotating, I don’t have any diagrams or any other kinda info. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or situations similar???? Any help be appreciated!

Sounds like you might have your work cut out for you, there are 2 gears and 2 needle bearings that might have fallen out of place.

If it did the only fix is to split it in front and put it back together.

Ok, according to the local kubota dealer. They are saying the same thing you are, with a minimum of 8 hrs labour. Appreciate this!***128532;
