I have a 2000 BX1800. When I look for parts, I find parts for BX1800D. What is the difference between 1800 and 1800D? Maybe the year made? Are the parts the same?

It is all the same. The decal says BX1800 and the parts manuals refer to it as a BX1800D (for diesel, but I don't think that Kubota ever made a BX1800 that was anything other than diesel, or at least not in the USA).

BX1800 is the base model number. Kubota has a number of standard suffixes for model variants. Here is an OTT article explaining their "system".

Over the years the system has changed and Kubota has been somewhat inconsistent in its use. In your case BX1800D indicates a BX1800 with 4WD. I believe thats the only variant they ever made.

You can find the "official" model number assigned to your machine at the time it was manufactured on the serial number dataplate.
