It's a very wet year and the bugs mosquitoes are driving me nuts. I can't use bug spray so decided to build a screened in enclosure. I was able to screw the upper part of the screen to my sunshade using the exsisting screws that hold the tarp on. The bottom I used some cheapo velcro it's not holding to good as when it gets hot the adhesive is letting go .It works great except I'm going to have to buy some better quality velcro and see if it will stay stuck on.

This is just a thought…I am not sure what is available on the individual consumer side, but maybe take a look at a product from 3M called Dual Lock…there are all kinds of different constructions and ways to fasten it and pending the type extremely durable. It’s used on wire harnesses and headliners in automotive as well as a range of other applications. It’s better/more durable than Velcro if you can find the correct product for your application. (I would be most worried about how it would stay attached the screen material). Keep us posted.
