Bx reverse mounted engine.

Just curious,
Do any other small tractors mount their engine like Kubota does on the Bx?

The 3 cylinder Yanmar in my JD 430 is mounted backwards too, flywheel to the front. The fan is mounted on the flywheel end so the radiator is in the front.

My JD X758 is also reversed.

A lot of equipment like Mini EX's, Skidsteers, and tractors have the engine put in either backwards or sideways, whichever makes better balance and connections.
It really doesn't affect performance of the engine any different, they have the same strength out the front of the crank as they do the back.
